Wayne Dobson is the first celebrity to send my old grandad, Wolfy Edwards, a signed photo.
And the good news continues, because Leo Sayer's PA has notified me that a signed photo of the star has just been popped into the post.

The magican Wayne Dobson has agreed to send my old grandad a signed photo. However, I must send him an SAE which I'll do on Monday.
Someone called Darren at the Gina G website got confused by my email. I wrote:

My grandfather 'Wolfy' Edwards says he is the greatest fan of yours. He still talks about the Fame Academy USA programme and all the dresses you wore!
Unfortunately he suffers from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and since his wife died, he's been unable to get out as much as he used to. I think it would really make his day if you could send him a signed photograph, with some sort of 'sexy' message.

... all about my grandad, Wolfy Edwards. Since yesterday, I've been sending emails to well-known celebrities asking them if they would like to make an old man (Wolfy) very happy. As an example, here is the email I sent Bob Carolgees:

My grandfather 'Wolfy' Edwards says he is the greatest fan of yours. He still talks about the hilarious Saturday Stayback and has written to the BBC to get them to repeat it.
